Students discover how stars, angles, trigonometry and triangulation can be used to determine position and direction, combining science, mathematics, observation and problem-solving in a fascinating hands-on STEM adventure.
Emergency Communications, When Everything Goes Down
Discover how radio, antennas, electricity and alternative power systems keep vital communications working when mobile networks, internet and conventional power fail. Students explore emergency radio procedures, signal transmission, problem-solving and real-world communication challenges through hands-on STEM activities.

Minimum workshop charge: €200 Schools can book individual workshops or arrange multiple workshops for different classes on the same day. Multiple-class bookings can be discussed directly with STEM Discovery Workshops.
